Growing up in a small town in the Midwest, I have always had a thirst to get out and see the world. My mom began working for an airline when I was 12 years old, which opened up the door for me to travel freely from a young age. Travel inspired and invigorated me. I had never considered a career in travel until after a marketing career in the fashion and the beauty industry. During much of that time, I moonlighted as a yoga teacher, leading retreats around the world. I thrived on planning every detail of each trip. Before each retreat commenced, I had already began planning the next. As I transitioned to a stay-at-home mom, my need to dream up and plan trips lead me to pursue a career in travel planning. Today, I operate as an independent travel consultant with Strong Travel, a luxury boutique travel agency in Dallas, Texas.
